Press releases from RELINEEUROPE14.11.2019
Throwing parties and using the proceeds to help others – a beautiful tradition here at RELINEEUROPEIn July this year, RELINEEUROPE celebrated its 10th anniversary. Numerous representatives from business and politics – such as State Secretary Andy Becht from the Ministry of Economics, Transport, Agriculture, and Viticulture of Rhineland-Palatinate and District Administrator Dietmar Seefeld – celebrated together with employees as well as customers and partners from Germany and abroad.
Admire the new vehicles: Christian Noll, Dr. Nathalie Noll, and Ludwig Allmann together with Udo Vogel from the association “Aktion Hilfe in Not” and Helmut Reinhardt as well as the caregivers and children of the St. Laurentius and Paulus Caritas Support Center.
Instead of gifts, RELINEEUROPE asked its guests for donations for the association “Aktion Hilfe in Not e.V.”. This Landau-based association has set itself the goal of helping those in need through no fault of their own. Together with the 1st chairman of the association, Mr. Udo Vogel, RELINEEUROPE decided to send the generous donations, which were supplemented by the company, to the St. Laurentius und Paulus Caritas Support Center in Herxheim. This institution helps young people with intellectual disabilities to develop their skills and strengths. 124 children and adolescents between the ages of six and 18 are currently being cared for there. The goal is to make life and the surroundings better for children and adolescents with disabilities as well as to give them a higher degree of freedom, independence, and responsibility. The Caritas Support Center offers 16 residential groups spread over five group homes on a spacious site. One external residential group is located in a rented house in Herxheim in the immediate neighborhood. On average, 7–8 children and adolescents live together in each group.
After consultation with Mr. Helmut Reinhardt, department head of the Caritas Support Center, it was agreed to use the donations to purchase new “children’s transport vehicles” such as go-karts, scooters, bicycles, and impellers as well as other play equipment such as balls. The vehicles, which are specially designed for people with disabilities, promote the mobility of children and – above all – are a lot of fun. Even children who are not able to pedal themselves can still enjoy the fun in tandem vehicles.
At the beginning of November, the board members of RELINEEUROPE AG, Ludwig Allmann and Christian Noll, were able to see for themselves how well their donation was received by the children and adolescents in Herxheim. “The vehicles never stop moving”, says Helmut Reinhardt. The shining faces of the children on the playground equipment spoke for themselves.
RELINEEUROPE would like to take this opportunity to thank all donors and their generous support for the “Aktion Hilfe in Not e.V.” association as well as the St. Laurentius and Paulus Caritas Support Center.
